PASTOR EMERITUS

Pastor Alfred Page is a New Hampshire native, born in Portsmouth, and has devoted much of his life to faithful service, both in the military and in Christian ministry. He served for twenty-five years in the United States Navy Submarine Fleet, retiring as a Lieutenant in 1977.

Following his military service, Pastor Al entered pastoral ministry in 1980. He is a graduate of Norwich Community College in Connecticut and Clear Creek Baptist Bible College in Pineville, Kentucky, and has served as pastor in churches throughout Kentucky, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Pastor Al was the first pastor of Hillside Baptist Church, serving from 1983 to 1991. After retiring from full-time ministry in 1999, he later returned to serve Hillside again from 2004 to 2005. Though retired from active pastoral office, he continues to serve the church as he is able, with a heart for the Gospel and the strengthening of Christ’s church. He has also been active in disaster relief efforts through the New Hampshire Baptist Association. In recognition of his faithful service and lasting impact, Pastor Al was formally named Pastor Emeritus in 2025.

Pastor Al resides in Loudon, New Hampshire and remains grateful for the Lord’s sustaining grace through many years of ministry and service.
